Installation at Ipswich High School For Girls Exhibition, Woolverstone, 2011.
The site was originally designed at the instruction of an 18th Century property developer and subsequently adapted for the use of successive schools. This temporary work, representing emerging human forms, celebrated the energy of human endeavour that resonates from the site.
Exhibition 21st – 27th July 2014 at Moyses Hall Museum and Edmunds Green, Bury St Edmunds
This was a collaboration between local coffee shops, their visitors, Moyse’s Hall Museum, St Edmundsbury Borough Council and Ceri Thomson. The artworks considered the town’s changing history, and its women, by celebrating The Widow’s Coffee House which stood adjacent to Edmunds Green in the 18th Century. Coffee shop visitors exchanged coffee tokens for admission to the museum exhibition, and were directed to participating shops and the museum by the site specific installation at Edmunds Green. This promoted the exhibition, the museum, and the coffee shops.
